We have organized 13th Conference of Czech Mass Spectrometry

195 participants registered, with 23 lectures, 14 short talks, and 55 posters presented. The event was held under the main organizational lead of Martin Moos.

Prominent scientific figures and dozens of experts in mass spectrometry and proteomics arrived in České Budějovice to attend the 13th Conference of the Czech Society for Mass Spectrometry and the 11th Informal Proteomics Meeting. The three-day event, held on 19–21 November in the Aula of the University of South Bohemia, was co-organized by the Biology Centre of the Czech Academy of Sciences and the University of South Bohemia, with support from the South Bohemian Region and the City of České Budějovice. Among the main highlights were plenary lectures delivered by leading figures in global science: Alexander Makarov (Thermo Fisher Scientific), Bernhard Küster (Technical University of Munich), and Jana Roithová (Radboud University). The programme was exceptionally rich throughout all three days, covering a wide range of topics—from small-molecule research to the analysis of large protein complexes. The vibrant atmosphere fostered numerous inspiring discussions, revealing new directions in mass spectrometry and encouraging collaboration in addressing emerging scientific challenges.
