Our collaboration with Prof. Fernando Noriega focuses on the molecular and hormonal regulation of insect reproduction and development, with a particular emphasis on juvenile hormone and ecdysteroid signaling pathways. Together, we combine advanced bioanalytical mass-spectrometry-based approaches with molecular biology and functional genomics to quantify, manipulate, and interpret insect hormone dynamics.
The partnership integrates our expertise in targeted and untargeted LC-MS metabolomics and hormone quantification with Prof. Noriega’s leadership in insect endocrinology, enabling mechanistic insights into ovarian physiology, reproductive regulation, and gene–hormone interactions across multiple insect model systems. This long-term collaboration contributes to a deeper understanding of endocrine control in insects and supports the development of robust analytical tools for hormone research.
